1. Fill a container with clean water.
2. Hold the brush tip about two-thirds of the way through with one hand and the brush holder with the other.
3. Gently squeeze until the bristles begin to separate.
4. Place the brush tip in clean water to remove impurities, shake and rinse for 2 minutes.
5. Rinse the brush in water to remove any loose bristles.
6. Squeeze the brush tip dry, scrape the edges a few times to remove excess water and shape it, then dip it in ink and test it.
